Apple has yet to release any kind of near-area communication (NFC) technology for mobile obligations with iOS, but that could change using the Apple iPhone 5.
A brand new report claims that code removed from prototype mobile phone models implies that Apple might be likely to include NFC chips and antennas using their next phone, that could signal a change toward mobile obligations around the platform.
